Microsoft updates Sysinternals resources
Since the purchase of sysinternals by Microsoft a lot of concern has been heard as to what’s going to happen to the Sysinternals tools? Are they going to become commercial? Are they going to be updated?
Looks like everything is getting updated and development on them is moving better than ever.
In today’s Technet email newsletter I got the following:
I just checked back on TechNet’s new Windows Sysinternals TechCenter and, wow, the site is chock full of all the outstanding systems utilities you’ve come to expect from the Sysinternals brand and great guidance on how to use them. On the TechCenter you will also find links to Mark Russinovich’s blog and the Sysinternals Forum for help from and discussion with other users. You can also find Mark in TechNet Magazine this month with Part 2 of his deep dive into the Windows Vista kernel.
So there you have it. Links to the sysinternals download page, systinternals forums and Mark Russinovich’s blog. One thing they didn’t add was a link to the sysinternals site blog.
